My car has slight, but annoying vibration @ 60-80 mph. I've replaced trans isolator mount, driveshaft (two piece rebuild from PowerTrain) had wheel balance done by a reputable shop, replaced tension rods w/ ES bushing ones. Vibes still there... This is what I'm thinking about doing. I have access to a lift. Put car on lift, remove rear tires, spin up to 60-70 mph. If vibrations, I know its driveshaft or related. IF no vibrations, put wheels back on. If vibrations, I know its rear tire/wheel related. If no vibrations, its gotta be front tires / suspension. Anything else I haven't replaced that could cause this vibration? Only other thing I could think of would be if something in tranny or diff was eccentric, but that's a pretty far reach. -- Chris My concerns are: 1) On lift, the rear shafts will be at an extreme angle. Will I injure CV joints or diff by doing this? 2) Likelihood of minor vibrations causing car to come off lift, with tires going 60-70 = instant Darwin award?
